A division of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering – Wipro Hydraulics has acquired Columbus Hydraulics (the US-based company). This will strengthen its presence in North America. The exact transaction value has not been disclosed.

Columbus Hydraulics will become a Fully-owned subsidiary of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering. This will increase their manufacturing capabilities and expand their hydraulic solutions.

Earlier Wipro has acquired Mailhot Industries as a part of Wipro’s strategy to expand its hydraulics business. Nebraska based Columbus brings 150 employees and a 120,000 square-foot facility. This is Wipro’s fourteenth acquisition overall and fifth in the hydraulics sector.
