The Govt of India is plans to launch around 12 industrial parks nationwide, aiming to attract over ₹1.5 lakh crore in investments. This will boost manufacturing sector and create more jobs.

The Cabinet, led by PM Narendra Modi, is expected to approve the proposal followed with a formal announcement. These parks will focus on food processing, textiles, logistics, tourism, and electric vehicles sectors, creating regional manufacturing hubs.

Land acquisition and regulatory clearances are already completed. The initiative aligns with Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s Budget 2024–25 speech, highlighting “plug and play” industrial parks across 100 cities.
